Flexstyle Configurator

A real-time 3D furniture configurator for sofas, armchairs, beds and transformables with AR preview and PDF quotation export.

I implemented a real-time material configurator that lets customers personalise every aspect of a furniture piece directly in the 3D scene. Users can switch fabric colours, change material types and swap leg variants, with all changes reflected instantly on the model. The system is data-driven: materials and colours are loaded from a configuration file, making it straightforward to add new collections without touching the code.

Material Configurator

I implemented a real-time material configurator that lets customers personalise every aspect of a furniture piece directly in the 3D scene. Users can switch fabric colours, change material types and swap leg variants, with all changes reflected instantly on the model. The system is data-driven: materials and colours are loaded from a configuration file, making it straightforward to add new collections without touching the code.

Module Snap System

I developed a snap algorithm that detects the connection points of each sofa module and automatically aligns them when dragged close together. The system handles corner pieces, chaise longues and standard sections, always keeping geometry consistent regardless of the combination order.

3D Dimension Overlay

To help customers verify that the configured furniture fits their space, I implemented a dimension overlay that renders the product clearances (ingombri) as 3D annotations directly in the scene. Width, depth and height update live as modules are added or removed.
